Citrus Bath Fizzer

If you would like a sweet smelling spa bath that helps to make you feel fresh, rejuvenated, and more energized you should try a citrus based spa bath. You do not have to go to the salon to pamper yourself you can make your very own citrus spa bath with the following Citrus Bath Fizzer recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. Baking Soda
  • 4 oz. Citric Acid
  • 4 oz. Corn Starch
  • 4 oz. Epsom Salts (Fine grained)
  • ¾ Cup Water
  • 2 Teaspoon Cocave Orange Oil (Orange oil is good to use when you want to alleviate anger, stress, and or depression; it is a great relaxing/energizing oil to use in your bath fizzer.)
  • 2 Teaspoon Cocave Lemon Oil (Lemon oil helps to strengthen your overall well-being including concentration, awareness, mood, and energy. Lemon oil also helps to fight off fatigue, stress, anxiety tension, etc.  Soak away your troubles with lemon oil)
  • 1/2 tsp. Coconut Oil (optional)
  • A few drops of yellow food coloring
  • Baking molds (Bath bombs are usually made with round, plastic snap together dome molds.)
  • Whisk
  • Wax Paper
  • Bowl
  • Cup
  • Towel

Instructions:

Combine all of your dry ingredients into a big bowl and mix together. Use a smaller bowl and mix together all the wet ingredients. Stir until combined. Mix wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, the mixture should become clumpy and moist (add more water if needed – but do not add too much because that will ruin the bath fizzer.) Use your hands and pack the mixture into your molds as tightly as you can. Allow to dry for a few minutes and place your wax paper on the towel while you are waiting. Remove from the molds and place the bath bombs on top of the wax paper for at least a day to finish drying. Enjoy the lovely citrus scents in your next spa bath.
