Homemade Lavender Bath Bomb

A true at-home-spa experience starts with a relaxing bubble bath and you can make your spa bath even more special by creating your very own Lavender Bath Bomb. Here is a recipe to make a luxury Lavender bath bomb right at home:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. Baking Soda
  • 4 oz. Citric Acid
  • 4 oz. Corn Starch
  • 4 oz. Epsom Salts (Fine grained)
  • ¾ Teaspoon Water
  •  2 Teaspoon Cocave Lavender Oil (Lavender is a great essential oil to use in a bath bomb because it has a natural relaxing scent that soothes and calms.)
  • 1/2 tsp. Coconut Oil (optional)
  • A few drops of purple food coloring (red and blue)
  • Baking molds (Bath bombs are usually made with round, plastic snap together dome molds.)
  • Whisk
  • Wax Paper
  • Bowl
  • Cup
  • Towel

Instructions:

Combine all of your dry ingredients into a big bowl and mix with your whisk. Use a smaller bowl or a cup and mix together all the wet ingredients (including the food coloring) stir until combined. Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, the mixture should become clumpy. Use your hands and pack the mixture into your molds as tightly as you can. Allow to dry for a few minutes and place your wax paper on the towel while you are waiting. Remove from the molds and place the bath bombs on top of the wax paper for at least a day to finish drying. Enjoy your spa bath!
